Augsburg International

Augsburg International is the official distributor that collaborates with the most popular car parts manufacturers for the import and wholesale distribution of spare parts, mechanics and car body, service equipment and more.

The customer requested the provision of an intralogistics solution for automatic transport of orders and consolidation/packaging of final orders, with sorting to the delivery point for each product and an automatic stock supply system.



Logistic warehouse details:


Zone 1 - Automatic transport system, sorting and consolidating/packing final orders;


Zone 2 - Automatic transport system, sorting 2-4 destinations for boxes with branch resupply goods;


Elevator area - Supply system in GF + 3 platforms with storage areas.


Total number of equipment: 68+

Total length of equipment: 290+ meters




What does the conveyor system for the logistics warehouse consist of?

  • Box loading point.

Loading ramps are equipped with sensors for storage.

  • Singing conveyor for positioning the boxes at the entrance to the elevator

Box scanning and storage level allocation.

  • Box transport elevator on 3 levels

The automatic transport system, sorting and consolidation.

The boxes are raised to the desired level and stored by an operator on the shelves

Accumulation areas on each level.

  • Panel error

  • The general panel provided with a box with forced cooling

Process synoptic diagram with event history and graphical indications, production statistics.

  • Line of sending the products to delivery. Unloading point products from shelves

  • Multilevel spiral

  • 3-stage conveyor line with spiral conveyors at each end to lower the products to the delivery

  • Product box collection area

  • Box scan and entertainment point: to delivery points or stock

Fast diverging at 45° and Merge / Diverge unit.

  • Conveyor with lineshaft driven rollers

  • Curved driven conveyor - 90 ° - with conical rollers

  • The delivery area provided with 8 unloading ramps

The boxes are scanned individually and sent to the delivery point to be picked up by the operator and packaged for delivery.

  • Double pop-up conveyor belt unit with electric drive

Code reading and diverging to the shipping ramp assigned to the code.

  • The transfer unit works horizontally and is integrated into the two parallel line-shaft conveyors

  • Diverging unit transfer capacity: 1200 boxes/hour

  • Conveyor gate: stops the boxes that are going to pass through this area if the gate is not closed

The opening and closing of the Gate are done with the help of swivel wheels.

  • For each pop-up system, there are 2 unloading ramps (left / right)

  • Each conveyor is provided with driver/sensors protected by a protective cover

  • Box scan point and diverting to the stock replenishment area

Diverting capacity up to 2500 boxes/hour

  • Electrically operated Double pop-up conveyor belt unit
