The group coordinates the entire production process for a wide range of furniture, sofas and mattresses, from the design and processing stage of the raw material to quality control, storage and shipping. Every year, Aramis Group products reach thousands of customers on five continents.

The customer requested an intralogistics solution for automatic transport of final products (furniture), with pick-up from the production area and transport to the unloading ramps in the warehouse.

Finished product conveyor line details (furniture) on pallets:

  • Over 620 meters of conveyors;

  • 24/7 operation;

  • 17 control panels that communicate with each other;

  • Interconditioning with the warning system in case of fire;

  • Over 10.000 lines of code;

  • Remote diagnosis;

  • 361 equipment backup route in case of failure;

  • 14 loading ramps with modular belt;

  • PVC Belt conveyors;

  • Roller Conveyors;

  • 7 shuttle conveyors;

  • 1 elevator conveyor;

  • 1 curved belt conveyor.

  • 1 rotating table

  • Unloading ramps with roller

  • Conveyor line speed: 21 meters/min;

  • Pallet unloading metering on each ramp;


Total number of equipment: 361

Total equipment length: over 620 conveyor meters

What is the component of the conveyor system for the logistics warehouse?


The furniture transport line on pallets consists of 8 pallet loading areas.

Each zone is composed of the following subareas defined as follows:

1) Loading ramps;

2) Pallet transfer area;

3) Transport area.


Loading ramps

The loading ramps are used to load the pallets and transport them to the pallet transfer area.


Pallet transfer area (SHUTTLE)

The SHUTTLES have the role of taking the pallets from the loading ramp and transferring them to the main line.


Main line transport area

The line has the role of transporting all the pallets to the warehouse. The speed of the main line varies depending on the area.
